Lawyer: Facebook deleted sex video blackmail evidence

Facebook has deleted the information on who posted the sex video that is currently the center of a Dutch lawsuit. Both the police and lawyer Thomas van Vugt, who represents the 21 year old woman from Werkendam, Brabant that can be seen on the sex tape, had requested the information from Facebook. Vugt filed the lawsuit that is set to appear in the court in Amsterdam on Thursday. "Facebook informed us that this type of data is only stored for up to 90 days", a police spokesperson told NU. The police submitted their request more than 90 days after the video was posted. Van Vugt has been in contact with Facebook since late April. "Now suddenly, just before the hearing, it is announced that Facebook has destroyed the data. My client can not believe it." Van Vugt said.
