Train passenger arrested for NS death threat

A 32-year old man was arrested on Wednesday at the Roosendaal train station for threatening the life of a female NS conductor, the police said in a written statement. Police were called to the station after the suspect allegedly shouted death threats at the woman. The man, from Bergen op Zoom, Noord Brabant, lost control during a ticket inspection just before 6 a.m., police said. However, she managed to alert a colleague and the police and the suspect was arrested for making an unlawful threat. It is at least the third case of abuse against an employee of national railway NS this week.
