Heavy fog warning, rush hour delays likely

The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) has issued a code yellow weather warning for dense fog in Utrecht, Noord-Brabant, Noord-Holland and Zuid-Holland. The dense fog will reduce visibility to less than 200 meters in these four provinces. Fog may also appear elsewhere. The warning will remain in effect until about 09:00 a.m. The reduced visibility due to the dense fog may cause traffic problems, ANWB warns. The rush hour lanes on the A9, A12 and A13 have been closed as a precaution as the fog means that a number of Rijkswaterstaat cameras are not able to keep an eye on things.
