Abandoned baby's mother sends police anonymous letter

This past week the police received an anonymous letter from a person who claims to be the mother of the baby girl that was abandoned on Christiaan Huygenstraat in Breda on March 2nd. The police can't say anything about the contents of the letter as it important to the investigation. The police are asking the letter's writer to please make contact with them again. The light-skinned baby girl with dark blonde hair was found in a bag between two parked cars at around 09:00 a.m. on March 2nd. She was born somewhere around February 27th. Pictures of the baby's clothing and the bag can be seen here. The team investigating this case now has new images of the person who left the baby on the street. It remains unclear whether this person is a man or a woman. The person walked from Eidsonplein towards Christiaan Huygenstraat carrying the bag containing the baby. He/She put the bag down, turned around and continued on his/her way on Keplerstraat. The images will be broadcast on Opsporing Verzocht at 20:30 tonight. The pictures will also be published on their website after the broadcast.
