Tiger cubs born in zoo meet their dad [video]

Three tiger cubs from Amersfoort Zoo met their father for the first time today. "It was a tense moment." said head animal caretaker Willem Verdonck. "You never know how father Ilya will react if three extremely inquisitive sons want to fool around with him" he explains. Mother Angara and her sons walked around outside when father Ilya showed up. The three cubs, Fedor, Sergei and Nicolai responded very inquisitively, according to the zoo. "The meeting went well, father reacted calmly" says Verdonck. The meeting this morning lasted about 1.5 hours, then dad went back inside. The tiger cubs were born on June 20th and is the first litter of mother Angara. http://youtu.be/4go9s1qgV6Q
