Moroccan Amb., Mayor, Police Chief to visit Hague neighborhood

Moroccan Ambassador Abdelouahab Belluoki will soon visit problem area Schilderwijk in the Hauge on invitation of Mayor Jozias van Aartsen and police chief Paul van Musscher. The Ambassador has been invited to see how the police will proceed in Schilderswijk, Omroep West reports. Bellouki had strongly criticized the conduct of police officers. He was shocked and dismayed by the heavy handed arrest of a 14 year old boy. The arresting officer was transferred early, even though his conduct was correct according to the Hague police. The transfer should not be construed as a sign of dysfunction or as a judgment on his performance, says police chief Musscher.
