One dead in shooting, Alphen aan den Rijn

A 46-year-old man was shot dead at a shopping center in Alphen aan den Rijn on Monday. The police have arrested a 37-year-old man in relation to the incident. Police in the area say that the incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on the parking lot of the Herenhof shopping center in the town. According to reports, there was an argument and a fight before a shot was fired. Rescue workers tried to reanimate the victim, but to no avail. Investigations into the shooting will attempt to find out what the argument was about, and how the two individuals knew each other.
