One dead in shooting, Alphen aan den Rijn

A 46-year-old man was shot dead at a shopping center in Alphen aan den Rijn on Monday. The police have arrested a 37-year-old man in relation to the incident. Police in the area say that the incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on the parking lot of the Herenhof shopping center in the town. According to reports, there was an argument and a fight before a shot was fired. Rescue workers tried to reanimate the victim, but to no avail.
