Man shot in his car
A 68-year old man was shot in his car in Steenbergen, North-Brabant. He is currently in hospital with serious injuries.
At around 10 o'clock, the man arrived at his home in the Dahliastraat in Steenbergen. When he parked on the street, he was shot several times.
The victim was also shot in January, in the same street, but was left with minor wounds on the leg. Police can't yet say whether he is already in their system, and therefore cannot link this incident to the criminal circuit.
The suspect departed the scene on a scooter, the police think, after they found a scooter several kilometers further.
The Dahliastraat has been shut off. The police is investigating and speaking to witnesses.
