The car used in a fatal shooting at a community center in Amsterdam on January 26th, was stolen in Houten on January 5th, the police revealed on Opsporing Verzocht on Tuesday night.
The police have "good hope" that the getaway car used in a shooting at a community center in Amsterdam on Friday, will provide trace evidence that can lead to the perpetrators, the police said on Opsoring Verzocht on Tuesday. 17-year-old Mohammed Bouchikhi, an intern at the community center on Grote Wittenburgerstraat, was killed in the shooting.
Extra security measures will be implemented in the Amsterdam neighborhood where a 17-year-old boy was killed and two others were injured in a shooting at a community center on Friday. Interim mayor Jozias van Aartsen, the police and Public Prosecutor agreed to place a mobile police station in the neighborhood, have more police officers on the street, and install surveillance cameras at a number of strategic locations.
