A test done by the Consumers Union showed that many online stores take too long to do refunds. In nearly 40 percent of the cases, the amount of returned items were not refunded in two weeks.

68 million euro of unused phone credit expires every month. That is on average 8 euros per person per month. The Dutch consumers union, de Consumentenbond, announced this on Tuesday. The union sent a petition to the government to change the expiry date of credit to a least a year after it was bought.
A major technical failure affected several Dutch banks on Friday. Last Wednesday ING Bank customers also had to deal with an interruption when their bank accounts showed incorrect balances.
Customers are unable to pay for their groceries, have thousands of euros more or less in their bank accounts than yesterday and can not to log into Internet banking because of extreme technical failures at the ING bank on Wednesday.
