Webshops take weeks to pay out refunds: report

A test done by the Consumers Union showed that many online stores take too long to do refunds. In nearly 40 percent of the cases, the amount of returned items were not refunded in two weeks. Online stores must refund the money within two weeks of receiving the product. The Consumers Union ordered products from 211 stores and returned them within two weeks. 65 of the store refunded the money too late and 15 of them did not refund the money at all.
