Bright and sunny summer's day ahead; Temps up to 35°C tomorrow
Today will be a bright summer’s day in the Netherlands, with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the mid and high 20s. Tomorrow and Thursday will be hot, with temperatures climbing to 35 degrees or higher in the south of the country, according to the KNMI.
The sun will shine brightly on Tuesday, although there will also be some clouds in the north in the morning and inland in the afternoon. No rain is expected. “It will become summery warm in many places,” the KNMI said. Maximums will range from 24 degrees on the Wadden Islands to 30 degrees in some places in the south. The wind will come from the southwest and will be light to moderate.
Wednesday will be another sunny and dry day, with mostly light winds from various directions. The day will be hot, with temperatures ranging from 29 degrees Celsius in the northwest to 35 degrees Celsius in the southeast.
The warm and sunny weather will continue on Thursday, and thermometers will likely top 30 degrees again in the south and southeast. On Friday, there is a small chance of a thunderstorm. There is also a chance that Friday will see tropical temperatures above 30 degrees, but this is still uncertain.
