Three injured, two seriously, in Almere stabbing; Three arrested
Three people were injured, including two seriously, in a stabbing late Friday afternoon on Louis Armstrongweg in Almere. Police said three suspects have been arrested in connection, Omroep Flevoland reports.
The stabbing occurred at about 4:45 p.m. A total of five people were involved in the incident, authorities said. All three injured individuals were taken to a hospital for treatment. Police said one of the injured persons is also considered a suspect and has been arrested.
Following the incident, police cordoned off the area around Louis Armstrongweg to conduct forensic investigations. Officers are working to determine what exactly happened.
Police have also called on witnesses to come forward. They are asking anyone with camera footage or other relevant information to contact authorities.
