Dutch Grand Prix sells out for Saturday and Sunday ahead of final Zandvoort race

Tickets for Saturday and Sunday at this year’s last Dutch Grand Prix have completely sold out. According to the organizers of the Formula 1 event at Zandvoort, only “Super Friday” passes remain available.

Scheduled for August 21–23, the Dutch Grand Prix will, for the first time, include a sprint race during the Zandvoort weekend. Since its return in 2021, this marks the sixth edition of the event on the Formula 1 calendar. Max Verstappen claimed victory in the first three races, while Oscar Piastri took the win last year.

“What we’ve built here can certainly be called a success story,” says Dutch Grand Prix director Robert van Overdijk. “As we head toward our final lap, we’re going to give it everything one more time.”

Friday’s schedule features the opening practice session followed immediately by Sprint Qualifying, with live music performances throughout the day by artists such as Kensington and DJ Paul Elstak.

The Saturday program begins with the F1 Sprint, a roughly 30-minute, 24-lap race, and continues with qualifying for the main race on Sunday.

The final Dutch Grand Prix kicks off at 3 P.M., with the weekend ending in style with a performance by Martin Garrix.

Formula 1 will leave Zandvoort after the 2026 edition, as the contract with Formula One Management will not be renewed. The organizers chose to conclude the event “at its height,” citing financial risks linked to the privately financed race and concerns about long-term profitability, even though the event enjoys global popularity.

Visitors to the Dutch Grand Prix will get more than just Formula 1 action. The weekend also features the F1 Academy, a series highlighting female racing talent, and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, a regular fixture at the Zandvoort event. These additional races add extra excitement and variety for fans attending the race.
