Video: Oss woman, 24, hurt in Rotterdam shooting dies of injuires
A woman injured in a shooting in Rotterdam early Sunday morning succumbed to her injuries later in the day, the police reported. She was a 24-year-old woman from Oss.
The shooting happened on Kralingseplein at around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday. First responders resuscitated the critically injured woman at the scene and rushed her to a hospital, where she died on Sunday afternoon.
Rijnmond reported that the woman was in a white Suzuki in the Rotterdam interchange with one or more people when shots were fired at the car. The police only said that the incident happened at or in a car.
The police arrested a 28-year-old man from Nijmegen after the shooting. He was standing with the victim when first responders arrived, the police said. Investigators are looking for another suspect seen fleeing the scene.
Officers arrested a second person in the neighborhood after the shooting, but he proved to be uninvolved.
Investigators asked witnesses or anyone with relevant camera footage or information about what happened to come forward.
