Two employees injured in armed robbery at Rotterdam tobacco shop

Two employees were injured Friday evening when armed robbers stormed a tobacco shop on Bergweg in Rotterdam, Rijnmond reports.

The robbery occurred around 7:30 p.m. According to police, two suspects entered the shop armed with a firearm. They did not fire the weapon, but a struggle broke out during the incident, leaving both employees injured.

Emergency responders treated the victims at the scene, though police did not specify the extent of their injuries. It remains unclear whether the robbers managed to steal anything.
