Video: Man found dead under suspicious circumstances in Limburg town; "Several" arrests

The body of a man was found “under suspicious circumstances” in a wooded area near Krayel in Maasbree shortly after midnight. The Limburg police report that “several” arrests have been made.

The police gave very few details, only saying that the victim is male and that his body has been taken to the morgue for further examination.

The police also didn’t say how many people were arrested. “Because more arrests cannot be ruled out, we cannot yet say how many people are involved. The suspects are in custody for further questioning,“ the police said.

Investigators cordoned off part of the wooded area for forensic investigation.
