Video: Car crashes into home in Noord-Brabant town; Driver badly hurt

A car crashed into a home on Gemertseweg in Beek en Donk, Noord-Brabant, early on Tuesday morning. The driver was badly hurt. A canister of laughing gas was found in the car, Omroep Brabant reports.

The accident happened at around 2:30 a.m. The damage is extensive. The car, a black Volkswagen, is partially inside the house, with bricks scattered on the hood and roof of the car.

The police, an ambulance, and a trauma team by helicopter responded to the scene. The trauma doctor stabilized the severely injured motorist before accompanying them to the hospital in the ambulance.

The residents of the home were uninjured, but they cannot enter their home due to a risk of collapse.
