Man stabbed during large fight in Rotterdam; 18 arrested

A man was stabbed during a large fight early Thursday morning in the center of Rotterdam. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, according to NOS.

Eighteen people were involved in the incident and were all arrested by police. Authorities have recovered the suspected weapon, a knife.

Most of those arrested have since been released but remain under suspicion. A 32-year-old man from Cape Verde remains in custody. Police have not ruled out further arrests as the investigation continues.

Investigators are reviewing security camera footage from the area to determine what sparked the violent confrontation.
