Argument leads to overpass jump after A20 crash near Rotterdam
A man is in serious condition after jumping from an overpass on the A20 in Rotterdam early Sunday morning, following a rear-end collision, police report. The incident, which escalated into a heated argument between the occupants of the involved vehicles, reportedly led to the man’s desperate leap.
The crash occurred at around 1:45 a.m. near the Giessenbrug on the A20 highway. After the two cars collided, a dispute broke out between the individuals in the rear vehicle. In a dramatic turn, one of the men involved jumped from the overpass, falling to the ground below.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported the man to the hospital with severe injuries, which authorities suspect may include an arterial bleed. The female driver of the front vehicle was examined by paramedics but was unharmed in the incident.
