Break-in at Bijenkorf in Eindhoven; Thieves targeted jeweller Diamond Point

Thieves broke into the Bijenkorf on 18 Septemberplein in Eindhoven on Wednesday night and robbed the Diamond Point jeweler located inside the department store. Several glass display cases on the ground floor were smashed, Omroep Brabant reported.

The police were present in large numbers at the Bijenkorf on Thursday morning. Officers cordoned off the entire building. Inside, forensic investigators collected trace evidence, while sniffer dogs searched the area for suspects.
