Train disruptions between Den Bosch and Eindhoven Centraal
Train services between Den Bosch and Eindhoven Centraal are severely disrupted this weekend due to a damaged overhead line. The NS has adjusted its timetable, and the issue is expected to last until Monday at 2:15 a.m.
In addition to the technical failure, a railway strike in Belgium is affecting several Dutch train routes. The NS has warned travelers to expect cancellations. The Belgian strike is a response to federal government plans, including an increase in the retirement age.
Train services to and from Den Haag Centraal were already suspended Saturday due to scheduled maintenance on tracks and platforms. The work is part of ongoing infrastructure improvements in the station.
Given the combination of these disruptions, the NS advises checking its travel planner for real-time updates before departing.
