Police share footage of a man firing a gunshot inside a KFC restaurant in Amsterdam
Police have shared footage of a man shooting at another inside a KFC restaurant in Buikslotermeerplein, Amsterdam-Noord. The suspect has not been found yet, and police are hoping that by spreading the footage, they can apprehend the culprit. Nobody was injured in the incident.
The incident took place at 9:30 p.m. on August 28. A group of three men were waiting for their order in the fast food restaurant when another group of three came in.
This eventually led to a sudden escalation where one suspect, who had gone outside, came back into the store and started hitting the men. One of the opposite group, who was being attacked, then pulled out his firearm and fired one shot inside the restaurant. All six men fled the scene after this.
Police have stated that they would like to speak to the suspect and the victim of the shooting attempt. They have urged anyone with any information to come forward.
