Mild weather and grey skies expected on Christmas and Boxing Day
The weather during Christmas will remain grey, mild, and calm. Locally some drizzle will fall here and there, and it will be mainly cloudy. This is reported by Weeronline.
It will not be very mild on Christmas Eve, with temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees Celsius, but the temperature will rise one degree during the evening. Some light rain may fall inland. It may become foggy at night, but the weather will remain mild, with some drizzle in the east and southeast of the country.
The drizzle will continue in the eastern and southeastern regions on Christmas Day. A bit of sunshine may come through In the northwest and north.
The sun will slowly move towards the southeast on Boxing Day. It will still be grey, but it will remain dry. Locally, the sun can be found in the afternoon in Limburg and the east of Brabant, where it will be around 9 to 10 degrees.
It will be a bit colder again during the weekend. Temperatures will drop to 6 to 8 degrees Celsius and around 3 to 5 degrees Celsius at night. In some places, especially in the southeast, it may clear up during the night, which could cause a light frost. In the rest of the country, however, it will mainly remain the familiar gray color. On Friday and Saturday, some drizzle may fall locally. The chance of rain will increase from Sunday, as will stronger winds.
