Cinemas in the Netherlands to show the Oranje match vs Turkey on Saturday

Several cinemas in the Netherlands will show the European championships quarter-final between Oranje and Turkey on Saturday night. Football fans can watch the game live on a large screen at Pathé, Vue, and Kinepolis cinemas, among others.

"We show all the Netherlands matches at the Euros, so the Netherlands-Turkey match is definitely on the schedule," a spokesperson for Pathé. If Oranje were to reach the semi-finals and the final on July 14, then those matches will also be shown at Pathé. In addition to the four big cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Utrecht, the match can also be seen in cinemas in Nijmegen, Leeuwarden, Schiedam, Tilburg, and Zwolle.

According to the cinema chain, the Netherlands' first four Euro 2024 matches were very well attended. Pathé received "between 1,500 and 2,000 visitors" for each game. Cinemas in The Hague, Utrecht, Amsterdam, and Rotterdam were the most visited of the chain. Many tickets have already been sold for the match on Saturday. "Visitors in orange experienced the matches together, and the large screen and the fantastic atmosphere made every action even more visible and tangible, the ultimate European Championship experience!"

Cinema chain Kinepolis has branches in several cities but is mainly only showing matches in Almere, Breda, and Emmen.

Vue Cinemas shared that the quarter-final and, eventually, the semi-final if Oranje gets there, will be shown at all their cinemas. The chain has cinemas in places like Alkmaar, Purmerend, Doetinchem, Den Bosch, Kerkrade, and Hoogezand.
