Concert organizer says that Nicki Minaj may one day return to the Netherlands

Concert organizer MOJO is not ruling out the possibility that Nicki Minaj returns to the Netherlands for a show in the future. A spokesperson said this in response to the news that the American rap musician cancelled her show this Sunday at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam due to her arrest last weekend.

Minaj, who also performed in the Amsterdam venue on May 23, was arrested at Schiphol Airport last week for drug possession. The musician was detained for several hours and was issued a fine.

She accused the Marechaussee of racism when discussing the arrest on Thursday. Soon after, it was announced that her show would not go ahead due to “last week’s events.”

The MOJO spokesperson confirmed that Minaj canceled the show. Those who bought tickets will have their money refunded.

There will not be a replacement show added to Minaj's tour. The spokesperson did not rule out the rap musician returning “in the future with another tour,” but added that it would not be in the near future.
