Naked woman found killed in Zeeland meadow
The naked body of a woman was found in a meadow near Westdorpe in Zeeland on Saturday. Given the injuries on the body, the police believe the victim was murdered. Investigators call on the public's help to identify the victim.
A passerby found the remains in a meadow on Sint Anthoniekade, near the border with Belgium, at around noon on Saturday. Forensic investigation was conducted at the scene on Saturday. A helicopter was used to take aerial photographs of the scene.
The victim is a white woman between the ages of 50 and 65 years old. She has short red hair, a normal build, is between 1.65 and 1.7 meters tall, and has no tattoos. She was wearing no jewelry or clothing when she was found.
The police want to get into contact with anyone who may recognize the woman or has any information that could help in identifying her. Given that the body was found close to the border with Belgium, the police also informed their Belgian colleagues.
