Body parts in suitcase not missing Amsterdam woman

Body parts found in a suitcase along the Zuider IJdijk in Amsterdam Oost on January 19th do not belong to missing Sabrina Oosterbeek, the police confirmed with DNA tests, according to the Telegraaf.

Sabrina Oosterbeek disappeared from Amsterdam Zuidoost in March 2017. The police unsuccessfully searched for her body in Amsterdam and surroundings multiple times. The Public Prosecutor believes she was murdered by Sjonny W., who is currently in custody and also suspected of murdering two other women.

The police previously said that the dark colored suitcase found on the banks of the Zuider Ijdijk contained the torso of a woman between the ages of 20 and 50 years old. She was wearing a black dress and black shirt. The suitcase had been lying on the banks of the Amsterdam canal since at least January 11th.

Investigators are still trying to identify the victim.
