Child threatened in robbery at Amsterdam store

Two men robbed a Blokker store on Eerste Oosterparkstraat in Amsterdam on Saturday morning. During the robbery the perpetrators threatened employees and a number of customers, including a small child. The police are looking for the perpetrators and asking for the public's help to find them.

The two men entered the store around 10:20 a.m. on Saturday, November 3rd. They threatened two store employees and forced them and the customers into the back space of the store. One of the employees was forced to open the safe, and the two men fled with an unknown amount of cash, the police said.

The first perpetrator is a man between the ages of 18 and 24 years with lightly tanned skin. He is around 1.8 meters tall with a normal posture. At the time of the robbery he had a light gray hoody on back-to-front with holes cut into the hood. He was also wearing a dark colored rain coat, dark pants and dark shoes.

The second man looked to be about the same age as his accomplice. He has dark skin, a round face and is about 1.75 meters tall. He was wearing a dark blue raincoat, dark blue pants and dark blue Adidas shoes.

The police would like to talk to anyone who may recognize these men, or saw anything out of the ordinary in the vicinity of Eeerste Oosterparkstraat between 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on Saturday.
