On Thursday morning the police found a body while searching for missing 79-year-old Mona Baartsman in Heinenoord, Zuid-Holland, the police said on Twitter. Whether the body is that of the missing woman, is still under investigation.

Mona Baartmans, who had five businesses in the hospitality industry in Delft, disappeared on Sunday, September 23rd. On that day she and her eldest son went to visit her husband Leo, who is in a care facility in The Hague, according to the Telegraaf. One of her sons was arrested in connection with her disappearance early this month.

On Wednesday the police started searching for the missing woman in Heinenoord, after receiving a serious tip about her disappearance.
