Holland's Got Talent finalist also prosecuted for child porn in Belgium

Lars de R., a guitarist suspected of child sex abuse in the Netherlands, is also being prosecuted in Belgium for making and distributing child pornography, RTL Nieuws reports.

The Dutch authorities transferred part of the investigation into De R., who was a finalist in Holland's Got Talent in 2009, to the Belgian authorities. This happened after the police in Belgium encountered a pseudonym in a child porn investigation that the Dutch police linked to De R.

In the Netherlands the 26-year-old guitarist is accused of sexually abusing 13 underage boys in the Netherlands, India and Croatia. De R.'s trial is expected to start after the summer.
