One hurt in Nijmegen shooting; two arrested

A shooting on a parking lot on Leuvensbroek in Nijmegen left one person injured. Two suspects were arrested, Tubantia reports.

The shooting happened around 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The victim was not seriously injured, a spokesperson for the police told the newspaper.

The police closed down a shopping center in the neighborhood with crime scene tape, and a police helicopter was seen flying over the neighborhood for some time.
