Ajax honors Abdelhak Nouri on his birthday

Amsterdam football team Ajax honored Abdelhak Nouri on his 21st birthday on Monday with a video posted on Twitter. "We think about you every day, but on your birthday a little bit more", the team wrote with the video, adding the hashtag #StayStrongAppie.

Abdelhak Nouri, known as Appie among his team and friends, suffered cardiac arrest during a practice match against Werder Bremen last year. He sustained permanent and serious brain damage, and has been in a coma for months.
