Eindhoven man shot multiple times in caravan park assault

A 37-year-old man from Eindhoven sustained multiple gunshot wounds in a shooting incident at a caravan camp in the city during the early hours of Sunday morning. The police launched an investigation. The perpetrator is still at large, Eindhovens Dagblad reports.

The shooting happened around 2:00 a.m. at a caravan camp on Kasteellaan. Responding police officers found blood, but no sign of victim or perpetrator. They alerted the hospitals in the area to keep an eye out for a gunshot victim.

The victim turned up around 2:30 a.m. He had multiple gunshot wounds. He was treated and is in a stable condition.

The circumstances around the shooting are still unclear. "In the interest of the investigation we can not release any further information for the time being", a police spokesperson said to the newspaper.
