Over €25 million in cocaine found hidden among refrigerated fruit
The police found over a thousand kilograms of cocaine hidden among fruit in a refrigerated truck in Oudenbosch on Tuesday. Six men were arrested. The street value of the drugs is estimated around 25 million euros, the police said in a statement.
The bust was made in a warehouse on Industrieweg. The police identified the suspects in an ongoing investigation. Four men were in the warehouse when the police arrived. They were all arrested. Another two men were arrested a short time later, on suspicion of involvement in this case. All six suspects are in restricted custody, which means they are allowed no contact with the outside world, except with their lawyer.
The investigation is still ongoing. More arrests may follow.
