Man killed in Rotterdam shooting

A 41-year-old man died in hospital during the early hours of Wednesday morning after a shooting in Rotterdam. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and the man's injuries looked like gunshot wounds, the police confirmed to NU.nl.

The victim was found critically injured in a car on Langehorst in Rotterdam-Zuid. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died.

A special investigation team is on the case and is expected to release more information during the course of Wednesday.
