Emergency room's ceiling collapses at Venlo hospital

The ceiling of the emergency room in the VieCuri hospital in Venlo collapsed on Thursday night, a spokesperson confirmed to NU.nl. No one was injured.

"The ceiling came down at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday", the spokesperson said to the newspaper. "The crisis team immediately gathered and a cleaning team started cleaning last night."

The hospital will release a statement about the consequences for patients during the course of the day.
