Dutchman arrested in Cambodia for child pornography
A 53-year-old Dutch man was arrested in Siem Reap, Cambodia on Tuesday for paying at least 19 underage boys for nude photos. Over 1,300 photos of naked boys were found on the man's camera, NU.nl reports
All the victims are under the age of 15 years. The Cambodian police spoke with the 19 known victims and determined that the man paid them a few dollars to undress so that he could take photos. The police believe that there may be more victims.
According to the Cambodian police, the Dutch man showed the boys drawings of how they had to pose for him. They were paid two or three dollars for a simple pose or four or five dollars for a photo shoot. It does not seem that the man molested the boys.
The Dutch man is suspected of producing child pornography. He will appear in court this week. He is the third foreigner arrested on child pornography charges in the Southeast Asian country this year.
