Police need information on Amsterdam assassination victim
The police are urgently looking for more information on Amsterdam assassination victim Justin Jap Tjon. Investigating officers are also looking for a number of specific witnesses to the 25-year-old man's assassination in Osdorp last week, AT5 reports.
Justin Jap Tjon was gunned down on Professor R. Csimirstraat around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31st. Shortly after the shots were fired, several people ran away. According to the police, one of the fleeing people, a man, shouted "help, help" to two young women standing at a tram stop. The police already spoke to the man, but want to get into contact with the two young women. A light colored car was seen driving away from the scene, and the police want to talk to the driver. It is unclear whether this car was a getaway car, or just a car full of witnesses.
According to the police, Jap Tjon was hit multiple times. They believe this was an assassination. Investigating officers want to speak to anyone who can give them more information about the victim. "Who did he hang around with? Did he have problems? Who would know more about the motive for his death?"
