Call for witnesses in young girl's death in Amersfoort house fire

The police are calling on witnesses to come forward in the case of a house fire in Amersfoort in which 11-year-old Lindsey Ngo was killed. The police believe arson was involved.

The fire happened in a home on Gounodstraat around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday January 14th. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters found the critically injured 11-year-old girl. She was rushed to the hospital, where she died of her injuries the following day. Her 25-year-old sister was also in the house during the fire, but she managed to escape with only minor injuries.

The police believe that the fire was deliberately set. The family was previously targeted - their car was first set alight and then vandalized. Investigators call on witnesses to come forward and share information and any photos or video footage of the fire with the investigating team.
