Car goes up in flames at Arnhem mall; 6th car fire in a week

A car parked at the Kronenburg shopping center in Arnhem went up in flames during the early hours of Friday morning. The police believe arson was involved and launched an investigation. This is the sixth car fire in Arnhem this week, the Gelderlander reports.

The fire was discovered around 3:00 a.m. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, but not much is left of the car.

This is the sixth car to go up in flames in Arnhem this week. The first was on New Year's Eve on Emili Brontesingel. The police believe that fire was started by a firework. During the night between Sunday and Monday a total of four cars burnt out in the Arnhem neighborhoods of Elderveld and Presikhaaf.

The police believe arson was involved in all these fires.
