Van Gogh paintings recovered 14 years after being stolen

Two paintings by Vincent van Gogh were recovered in Italy 14 years after being stolen from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Telegraaf reports. The paintings involved are Seafront at Scheveningen and Congregation Leaving the Reformed Church in Nuenen. They were found in a major ongoing investigation launched by the Italian Public Prosecutor. The Italian authorities believe the Neapolitan Mafia, the Camorra, is behind the theft. A press conference on the find will be held in Naples at 11:30 a.m.
