50,000 bees found intentionally poisoned in Limburg

Two entire bee colonies were poisoned in Stramproy, Limburg on Wednesday after someone deliberately sprayed bug repellent into their hives. About 50 thousand bees were killed, 1Limburg reports. The poison was sprayed into the opening the bees use to fly into the hive. As a result both bees already in the hive and those returning to the hive were poisoned and killed. The Limburg police posted video of the dying bees on Facebook asking for witnesses to come forward.
