Rotterdam fatal shooting victim identified

The man killed in a shooting in a home on Crooswijkseweg in Rotterdam early Wednesday morning, was finally identified. The victims is a 35-year-old man from Rotterdam. His family was notified, the police said on Friday. The police found the severely wounded man on the balcony of the home around 3:45 a.m. on Wednesday. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him, but to no avail. Two suspects arrested in the home when the victim was found, two men from Rotterdam age 42 and 43, are still in custody. A third suspect, a 47-year-old homeless man, was arrested a short time later. He is also still in custody. All three will be arraigned on Saturday. An autopsy will be done on the victim's body to determine cause of death. In the mean time a team of 20 investigators is studying forensic evidence, viewing available surveillance camera footage and talking to local residents. The police call on witnesses to come forward.
