Partner arrested in Rijswijk woman's fatal stabbing

A 38-year-old woman died in hospital after being critically injured in a home on Professor Quacklaan in Rijswijk on Thursday morning, the police said in a statement on Friday. Her 45-year-old partner was arrested. The police responded to the home around 10:00 a.m. on Thursday after a report of someone being wounded. At the scene they found a severely injured woman. Her partner had a minor injury on one hand. Paramedics rushed the woman to the hospital in critical condition. She died of her injuries some time later. Officers arrested the 45-year-old partner at the house. He was first taken to hospital for treatment and then to the police station for questioning.
