Gelderland man caught taking photos of German tourist in shower

A 58 year old resident of a Gelderland town was arrested on a campsite in Renesse on Thursday evening after he was caught taking pictures of a young woman in a shower. Police officers responded the campsite at around 6:15 p.m. after receiving a report that visitors caught a man taking pictures of a woman in the shower. At the scene they found a very upset 20 year old German tourist. She told the officers how she got into the shower at the campsite and then suddenly saw a phone appear in under the stall door. The phone was recording her. She stepped on the phone and immediately called her friend. The friend caught the suspect in the stall next to the German tourist. He took the phone from the 58-year-old man and called the police. The police arrested the man and took him to the police office in Middelburg. The victim pressed charge. The case is being further investigated.
