Major southern Netherlands drug bust suspects ordered back to jail

Thirteen of 55 suspects arrested during a massive drug bust in southern Netherlands on Monday, were remanded back into custody after being arraigned on Tuesday and Wednesday. Others still have to appear in front of the magistrate, the Public Prosecutor announced, ANP reports. The Prosecutor wants to keep 32 of the 55 suspects in custody. The investigation revolves around party rental store Party King on Ambachtsweg in Best, believed to be the cover for a kind of drug trafficking market place. The police identified suspects by putting surveillance on the store for some time. The police saw more than 700 customers going in and out of the party rental store. On Monday a total of 124 addresses were searched and 55 people arrested in this investigation. The police sees a 55 year old man from Kaatsheuvel, a 37 year old man from Waalwijk and a 50 year old suspect from Best as the main suspects in this case. "Investigation showed that at least some of the visitors came to deal synthetic drugs and raw materials for the production of these drugs with the three", the prosecutor said. The prosecutor believes that more arrests will be made.
