Employees tackle armed robber, but three others at large

The owner of a store in Klein-Zundert was injured when four armed suspects robbed his store on Klein-Zundertseweg on Friday morning. Employees managed to overpower one of the suspects, the other three fled. The robbery happened around 9:45 a.m. The police arrested the overpowered suspect and are looking for the other three. A possible getaway car was found burning on Berkenlaan in Zundert, according to the police. It is a BMW with German licence plates. The police are calling on witnesses to come forward. According to Omroep Brabant, one of the suspects assaulted the owner of the store. He suffered injuries to his face and will have to go to the hospital. How much was stolen is still unclear. The police are investigating.
