Arrest made in case of businessman stabbed at home

The police arrested a 29 year old man from Rotterdam at Schiphol Airport on Thursday morning in the investigation into the death of business man Koen Everink, a police spokesperson confirmed to NU.nl. Everink was found stabbed to death in his home in Bilthoven early this month. His six-year-old daughter found his body lying in a pool of blood. The police are still investigating to what extent the 29 year old Rotterdam resident was involved in Everink's death. He is in custody for questioning. The investigation into Everink's death is in full swing. The police carried out a trace evidence in and around the business man's home and questioned several witnesses. So far hundreds of tips were received in this investigation. Everink became a well-known name in the Netherlands in 2012 when he was beaten up by kickboxer Badr Hari at Sensation White. Hari was sentenced to prison for this assault.
