Third Dutch person missing in Brussels attack

At least three Dutch people are missing in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Brussels on Tuesday morning, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands confirmed Wednesday evening. Two of those missing, siblings Alexander and Sascha Pinczowski, had just finished visiting family and friends in Maastricht. The third person was confirmed missing by the ministry by about 5:15 p.m. That Dutch citizen’s identity was withheld for privacy concerns. The government office did not say if the person was possibly at the Zaventem airport, site of two bombings, or near the Maalbeek metro station, where a subway car was targeted in a third blast. “We are following the situation very closely,” a ministry representative published on Twitter. At least one Dutch person was lightly injured in the assault on the Brussels Airport. The Pinzcowskis were believed to be at the airport at the time of the attacks. They had called family to alert them of their safe arrival at Brussels Airport, when an explosion was heard in the background. Alexander Pinczowski was described by a family friend as a diabetic in need of treatment. He is 1.85-meters in height, with short brown hair, a beard, brown eyes and a large build. Sasha Pinczowski is stands at 1.60 meters, with long straight hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about those missing, or with concerns about loved ones, were asked to call the Dutch foreign affairs desk at +31 247 247 247, or the Belgium foreign affairs crisis line, at +32 781 517 71.
